Today is “Thiru Kaetta“ nakshathram. This is our Day 6 pookkalam. 🙂
The border, with all that multi-colour flower arrangement, is the result of left over, almost-wilted flowers from the past days 😉 Effective utilisation of the entire flower collection 😉 😉 😉
And here’s what we designed on Day 1 – Atham, Day 2 – Chithira, Day 3 – Chothi, Day 4 – Vishakham and Day 5 – Anizham 🙂
This one is beautttiiiiiiiifulllllllll 🙂
And what an effective utilization of the left-over flowers 🙂 Awesome 🙂

left overs, huh? Every pookkalam has a sad story to tell ! 😀 😀 😀

They’re not chicken legs and drumstick skins 😛 They’re flower petals!! Sad story, it seems. All these flowers spend about 12 hours on cow dung!! So a few leftovers make no difference 😛 😛

but you said buffalo dung ??? oh, this is from a cow, huh? ok ok !!
There wouldnt have been this concept of pookkalam had there been no dung, na ? hmmm…

Yeah…this is cow dung. buffalo dung dries up faster 😀
Ahem…I’d say there wouldnt have been this concept of pookkalam had there been no flowers!! Remember: it’s not chaanakakkalam, it’s pookkalam. 😛 😛 😛
