Day 15: What was it that I wanted to blog about?

If you’ve been following my random nonsense for a while now, you know I’m a very prospective candidate for the Alzheimer’sย Association.

On Day 13, while at office, I thought of something and said to myself “Ooooh I must blog about this today”. I came home, and by the time I sat to blog, had completely forgotten what it was. ๐Ÿ™„

Day 14, same thing happened. I remembered the topic and I went “Yes! That was what I wanted to blog about. Today is the day.” And I forgot. In any case, yesterday I was too tired to rack my brain too much.ย ๐Ÿ™„ย  ๐Ÿ™„

Today, at work, approximately around 2.15 p.m., I thought of this again. And I told myself to jot it down so I won’tย forget by night (and then I promptly forgot to jot it down) ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ And now, I’ve racked my already wrecked brain for such a long time; ย I even went back to my office mail, checked what I was doing at that time, checked my WhatsApp chats, everything. Zilch. I just can’t figure it out!

What was it? Bah! No peace of mind till I remember it.

Now I have this feeling, when I finally remember it and do begin to write about it, I’ll realise it’s no biggie. Sigh. You’ve guessed by now I’ve been through before, haven’t you?

Off topic: Damn, now I’ve forgotten what that was, also!

Such a senseless post. Chatting on WhatAapp with two senseless friends about highly senseless (though wishful) things ๐Ÿ˜› With kind of discussions we have about the improbability of impossibility, I think my brain’s overused, which is the reason for all the forgetfulness ๐Ÿ˜€ One of them is worse than me. The other one – we got to initiate her into the club.

Ooooh – remembered the off topic. Is there nothing as NaBloPoHaMo? Where Ha stands for “Half”!? Question asked for obvious reasons. And today is Day 15, anyway. Just saying!

  1. Come on…this is like reading your mind sitting miles away and I love to know you!
It happens to me esp when am cooking and can’t even write down what I wanted to write about…sigh…the pressures of writing a post!
Half way done…yay…still pumba posts are pending!

  2. LOL ๐Ÿ˜€ Happens to most of us. Have you realized that the more you try to remember that forgotten thing, the more time it takes to remember it. Am I making sense? ๐Ÿ˜€ Yes, it’s the same mental fatigue that’s making me type such incoherent comment! ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. Oh that always happens to me! I have all the wonderful ideas when I can least jot them down. Yesterday, I had the best idea while I was chairing a meeting, and as expected as soon as I got a chance to open up WP on my phone, it had vanished into thin air! But we are half way through.

  4. I’m the lone wolf here…but when I sit down to write, I have a tough time choosing out of the so many things I have to write about…maybe that’s because of being a teacher..seem to have a lot of practice at taking one page’s worth and droning on for 30 minutes about it ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. ha ha.. I am with you on this, I also have so many things on my mind before I sit down to do a post but when the time comes to actually type.. everything vainshes.. by the way that H should also be forgotten by you, because, reading you guys is my inspiration to do this blog marathon it would not be fun with out u… so looking forward to your next post…hugs…

  6. Hahahaha! We are sailing in the same boat. I get the most wonderful ideas to blog about at the most unusual time and place. And when the time and place both sit well, the ideas vanish.

LOL. I’ll back you when you legitimize NaBloPoHaMo ๐Ÿ˜›
