SAGS

IHM and Swaram have tagged me to list at least ten things I ever wanted or did which my gender is not supposed to.

So, here goes !

– I love being the engineer in the house..and dive right in if there’s technical things to be rectified.  My bro calls me Benchineer (B.A + Engineer) and the husband calls me Miss Technology 😀 😀

– I’m most comfortable in my jeans n T and sneakers 🙂

– I hate pink, lipstick, nail polish and gold!! Hate wearing necklaces, bangles, etc.

– I work, travel alone, have lived alone.

– I love travelling and I do not care if it involves getting dirt splashed on to my white shirt 😀

– Have fought with auto drivers, thretened to report them for asking excess fare. Have made peoplethrow ciggies away, for trying to make me a passive smoker.

– Love my phone, camera and laptop 🙂 And i prefer figuring it all out myself, han being taught. I’ll walk into any dirt, to get that perfect shot.

– Do not think cooking, cleaning and serving is the way to please anyone in the family/to get a name for myself. In fact, wile i love cooking, I do it ONLY if I have the mood. Else, I make sure the husband offers help/make him help 😀

– Love books more than tailoring, embroidery and crochet (donno any of these) !!! 😉

– I hate gossipping (unless it’s the funny, harmless ones) and wasting time reading Femina, etc. 😀

And of course, I love home shopping, pani puri, cooking, mehendi, lovely kurtis, mangoes, cuddling up, sleeping, bathing 😛 It’s a good mix 🙂

As for tagging, I hink I’m the last person to put this up 😀 😀 Anyone whos reading this, can take it up.

In fact, all of us seem to be the same. It’s all just a good mix. There’s nothing that man must do and women must do. “Can”/”Will” is a different matter. 😉

  3. Wearing jeans and comfortable footwear is sin number one.
Being the engineer in the house is sin number two – why not let a man do a man’s job and yo buy yourself a nice little embroidery kit?
A woman’s natural beauty is enhanced by jewelry – a woman who does not like to make herself look beautiful is not a woman 🙂 😈 (You have lots of company in this sin!! )

A love for gadgets and no-love for gossip makes us Sisters in Sin 🙂

“- Do not think cooking, cleaning and serving is the way to please anyone in the family/to get a name for myself…” I so agree with this! I feel one should never try to win people over, one should be liked for what one truly is.

Home shopping is one more thing we have in common but although it may even be wasteful, it is NOT A SIN 🙂

But you still are a sinner of course, so you are invited to join 140 other sinners on facebook 🙂

  4. “I’m most comfortable in my jeans n T and sneakers” — I dont understand ! How is this a sin? If you are wearing your husbands jeans and T, then its alright to feel uncomfortable. Those are your clothes and whats there to be uncomfortable with? 😀 😀 😀 😀

“I work, travel alone, have lived alone” – living alone is considered a sin for women ???

“Love my phone, camera and laptop And i prefer figuring it all out myself, han being taught.” – ahaaa, then why did you ask my help for that karaoke software ??? 😀 😀 😀

and for the last time, how is loving books a sin ???? Only guys read or what ??

Loved the last line. Even I think the same. There is nothing that only men or women can do; of course you cant expect a man to wear a churidar and walk down the streets or a woman to take off her top ala Salman style ! 😀

    • Hehehe… a lot of people think I may [and should] NOT be comfortable i them. Which is why I (and girls in general) get disapproving glances, while dressed in such manner 😀

Yes. it is. Because, if a girl is not married, and is living alone, “God only knows who she brings home everyday”. If a guy does the same, “well, he’s a guy”. 😉

Exactly the reason why. Because, when we ask for guidance, we seldom get it; coz, we’re not supposed to have that kinda brains/thinking/comprehending capabilities. It’s a guy-thing. 😀 Btw, I HAVE figured it out. Only, like I said, my recorded voice sucks 😦 SO, don’t want to torture you ppl 😀

Girls should rather be sweing, and cleaning, and mending, and cooking, and sweing, and cleaning. Books are for knowledge/leaisure. Much of both isn’t required for a girl 😀

FINALLY! you agree to something I say! 😀 😀
LOL. Haha…not take off her top ala Salman: you meant tear off her top ala Salman 😀 😀 Smita should see this!:D

Nice post and yes, there is nothing that is restricted to just one of the sexes except what Vimmuu mentioned in his comment 😀

  7. Wow! that was a wonderfully done tag 🙂
I couldn’t agree more and totally loved the line;” In fact, all of us seem to be the same. It’s all just a good mix. There’s nothing that man must do and women must do. “Can”/”Will” is a different matter.”

Keep up the good work girl 😛

    Cheers!!
